Select your head style
Choose the style that most closely matches your tool head. This helps narrow down the correct eye specifications.
What shape is your tool's eye?
The "eye" is the hole in your tool head where the handle passes through. Measure or look at your existing handle's top end.
How to measure the eye
Look at the hole in your tool head from the top. Measure the width (longest dimension) and height (shortest dimension) in inches. This is the eye size your handle must fit.
Oval / Teardrop
Rounded or tapered opening · ~1"–3" × ½"–1¼"
Rectangular
Square corners · ~¾"–1¾" × ½"–1"
Round
Circular opening · ~¾"–1½" diameter
Narrow Oval
Taller than wide · ~â…"–1" × 1¼"–2½"
What is the approximate weight of your tool head?
This is the weight of the metal head only, not the full assembled tool. Check any stamped markings on the head, or weigh it if unsure. Select the closest range.
What type of tool are you replacing the handle for?
